Local Honey

We keep Italian and Russian honey bees and raise hybrid queens. They have many acres of undisturbed woods in which to forage for pollen and nectar. Their honey changes considerably throughout the seasons.

We reserve enough honey for each hive to stay warm (in insulated hives!) through even our toughest New England winters, and the store is only stocked once they have their share for the year.

Local Honey

Any extra honey that the colonies produce is cold filtered and bottled hive by hive. You're getting it exactly as one hive produced it, so there is usually some variability between bottles from different hives. Our honey and beeswax products are available for online ordering with shipping or local pickup here in Orange, Connecticut.
